According to many reputable sources, Samsung plans to hold the next Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10, 2024. At this event, Samsung is expected to launch the 6th generation of folding phones Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, wireless headphones Galaxy Buds 3 and a new wearable device called Galaxy Ring.
Recently, through a case manufacturer, the first render image (design sketch) of the Galaxy Z Flip6 was revealed, giving us a preliminary look at the product’s appearance. Based on this image, it can be seen that the 6th generation of the Galaxy Z Flip folding phone line will only have a few minor design changes compared to its predecessor.
The most notable difference lies in the frame of the device. According to the render image, the Galaxy Z Flip6’s bezel has sharper edges than the Galaxy Z Flip5. Besides, the design of the speakerphone is also inspired by the Galaxy S24 series, changing from the form of many small holes to the form of a large, stretched speakerphone.
In addition, the rear camera cluster of the Galaxy Z Flip6 in the render is larger in size than the previous generation, and the distance between the two lenses is also narrowed.
However, the rendered image also shows a noteworthy point. While the Galaxy Z Flip5 only has a small hole at the top of the frame to accommodate the sensors, the Galaxy Z Flip6 has four holes. This may be a mistake by the case manufacturer because the Galaxy Z Flip5 is said to have the same sensor as the Galaxy S24 Ultra (1 sensor hole at the bottom and 2 holes at the top).
Currently, the rendered image is only a sketch based on leaked information, not an official image of the product. Samsung has not yet confirmed any information about the Galaxy Z Flip6. We will continue to update the latest information about the Galaxy Unpacked event and upcoming Samsung products.
