The Prayer (music video edition) – Maddie Featherby

Having whipped up a rough and ready promotional video of The Prayer for the Queen’s College 2012 Revue, Maddie Featherby (singer), Greg Andrews (sound) and I were curious if we could do a better quality ‘music video’ version of Maddie’s performance – ie multiple camera angles, transitions etc. To see if we could, we came in early before the final show of the Revue and took more footage.

Three takes were recorded using a Canon 5D Mk III and a Canon 7D camera (6 angles in total – one of which was not used). Due to a lack of appropriate audio recording gear, we could only get an ambient sound recording.

Final Cut Pro X was used to put the video together. With the exception of the full body (front) footage having some minor colour/exposure correction, all the other clips are untouched.
