Introducing the Nikon AF-S DX 50mm F1.8G
To respond to the expectations of both professional photographers and advanced amateurs, especially those using Nikon D40, D40x, D60 cameras, Nikon has decided to launch a lens with a shorter focal length. “Golden” Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G, creating a breath of fresh air for the popular lens line at that time.
The 50mm focal length provides the closest viewing angle to the human eye, thereby helping the photographer create more beautiful photos. The F1.4 aperture is ideal for combining with 9 aperture blades to create a soft, smooth, and more beautiful bokeh effect when shooting night scenes.
With the integration of the Silent Wave Motor supersonic focus motor, Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G allows faster, more accurate, and virtually silent focusing.
SALIENT FEATURES
Fixed focal length lens
As a fixed focal length lens, the Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G has a “golden” focal length of 50mm, considered a standard lens with a 46-degree viewing angle and perspective most similar to the human eye. The lens delivers high-precision images, capturing realistic and clear images, helping you easily take souvenir photos, indoor and outdoor activities, landscapes, and portraits. This is the ideal friend for professional and advanced amateur photographers.
The supersonic motor helps focus super fast
The Silent Wave Motor supersonic motor integrated inside the Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G lens ensures faster, more accurate, and quieter focusing. Furthermore, MF mode can be activated any time you want by holding the rubber ring and turning it instead of pushing the MF button on the tube body.
Soft bokeh effect
With a structure of up to 7 aperture blades to help form an ideal circle, Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G helps create excellent photos with soft, smooth, smooth, and more shimmering bokeh effects. Especially when you take night photos, it helps highlight the main subject of the photo.
AF/MF quick switching
When fine hand focusing is needed, simply rotate the lens’ focus ring to M/A mode that allows you to easily override the AF system with virtually no lag time.
Effective optical aberration correction
Since the 1960s, aspherical lenses have been an important part of the NIKKOR lens family. Virtually eliminating coma and other types of aberrations, all new additions to the product line provide a new level of contrast, resolution, and compact design.
